Structural Design Engineer
NASC GLOBAL is conducting a confidential search for our esteemed client for an onsite Structural Engineer located in New Castle, PA.
The compensation salary range for this role is $130,000 – $140,000.

Our client is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join their team in New Castle, PA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative design projects and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and present schematic design proposals tailored to client needs.
- Identify and implement technologies to enhance operational capabilities.
- Document design narratives and engineering analyses clearly and effectively.
- Interpret customer requirements by reviewing specifications, sales documents, project drawings, and ensuring alignment with proposal and contract documents.
- Perform analysis and design of the structural framework for the company’s specialty door product line.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Engineering to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the designs.
- Proactively resolve issues impacting project schedules, accuracy, and completeness.
- Assist Sales and Estimating Departments to ensure timely responses to sales and proposal inquiries.
- Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure efficient workflow throughout the plant.
- Work alongside installation operations to maximize equipment and personnel efficiency, emphasizing quality and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural or mechanical engineering or related fields.
- Familiarity with manufacturing designs and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP2000).
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
