Electrical Maintenance Technician
NASC GLOBAL, a leading HR Consulting and Management firm, is excited to support the search for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician for our valued client in Zeeland, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the safe and effective operation of industrial equipment.
Position Overview:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will provide essential maintenance support to ensure the optimal performance of plant equipment, with a focus on troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $49,920 to $68,640, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment to minimize downtime.
- Safely apply knowledge of electrical theory, system wiring, and installation during maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals effectively.
- Work with pumps, hydraulics, and welding to support operational needs.
- Interact collaboratively with plant personnel to achieve individual and team goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience or an industrial maintenance diploma; currently enrolled in a technical school may be accepted in lieu of experience. An electrician or journeyman license is preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent, with a background in hydraulics and compressed air systems.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are necessary to log information, process daily work orders, and complete required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills and basic math abilities are required to perform job duties satisfactorily.
- Must reside in the United States to be considered; no sponsorship is available for this position.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Additional experience in industrial maintenance beyond 1 year.
- Advanced understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and related software.
