Electrical Maintenance Planner
NASC GLOBAL, a leading HR Consulting and Management firm, is excited to support the search for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Planner for our valued client in Alcoa, TN. Position Overview:
As an Electrical Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling electrical maintenance work, ensuring that all necessary resources and information are available for optimal workflow. Your role will serve as a critical link between production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $80,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule all electrical maintenance work in the South Ingot and Can Reclamation Departments.
- Act as a liaison between production, engineering, and maintenance teams to facilitate effective communication.
- Ensure all necessary information for Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance Orders, and Predictive Maintenance tasks is available to optimize efficiency for craft personnel.
- Identify, obtain, and document materials and tools needed for maintenance tasks, staging them to maximize wrench time.
- Review completed work, schedule follow-up tasks, and update information in Oracle eAM.
- Maintain work schedules, including planned outages and weekend work.
- Collaborate with the EHS team to address safety, health, and environmental concerns prior to scheduling work.
- Enter production and maintenance data to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Update and maintain essential documentation, including calibration records and work instructions.
- Order and stock materials to support production and maintenance departments.
- Backfill as Maintenance Supervisor as needed during vacations, weekends, and off shifts.
- Assist in managing the Overtime System.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance planning and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with effective conflict resolution capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive experience with ORACLE eAM or equivalent maintenance software.
- Proficiency in Primavera or Microsoft Project scheduling software or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and produce field sketches.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new applications quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Advanced knowledge of ORACLE eAM and scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
