Electrical Engineer

Position Overview: As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide essential electrical engineering services to the Maintenance department, supporting production, maintenance, and engineering functions. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing the efficiency, output, and quality of our manufacturing processes through the integration and upgrade of electrical systems.
Compensation: Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all phases of assigned electrical engineering projects from concept development to project closure.
- Lead and collaborate with multi-discipline technical staff to address and solve problems effectively.
- Utilize PI Vision and Data Link to analyze process issues and contribute to solutions.
- Develop electrical control solutions that support process improvements and enhance equipment reliability.
- Assist production and maintenance teams with equipment and process challenges.
- Redesign and upgrade PLC/HMI controls for existing processes.
- Install and troubleshoot camera systems on industrial equipment.
- Provide guidance to employees to enhance their understanding of equipment and processes as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the time of employment.
- Minimum of one internship, co-op, or applicable work experience.
Desired Skills: (Not Required)
- Manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with project leadership in electrical engineering.
Technical Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience with PLC & HMI, AC/DC drives & motors, measuring devices, and Ethernet cameras.
- Proficiency in Rockwell programming software (e.g., RS Logix and Factory View).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project programs.
